Thor’s team! Following the idea that Pokemon are very rare on Asgard, Thor never had a Pokemon until his later years when he became a full-fledged warrior and bested Raikou in combat, thus gaining it’s respect and companionship.

It’s not until he gets to Midgard that he gains a large posse of baby electric types that were attracted to him because of the static he gives off.

Thor found Joltik one morning latched to his head while in bed.

Shinx started following him after a fight in a forest.

Pichu was found clinging to his cape during a walk through Manhattan.

Mareep appeared one night while Thor was out stargazing with Jane in a field. Thor also found Blitzle (or more like Blitzle found Thor) in a field, except it was in the morning and Thor had crash landed after a fight.

So basically Thor is a mommy and Raikou helps out with the parenting.

Aaand next up is Hawkeye!

I don't have time to comment on ALL the pieces in this little series, but I wanted to leave a comment all the same to say I really love your choices for all the Avenger characters! They're really well done and I like the thought process behind them XD Also the drawings themselves are suburb! Like here the way you drew Raikou really appeals to me...perhaps it's the sort of texture you put into it's fur?

XD Anyway, good job!

I bet that Pichu followed him for quite a few blocks before grabbing onto his cape. Thor seems like the kinda guy who walks fast without trying, and Manhattan is pretty crowded. Thor was probably impressed the little guy managed to do it.

So, do they stay with Jane when he needs to go out on dangerous missions?

So cute! The way those baby pokemon sought him out because of the electricity makes me think of the way baby animals will snuggle against basically anyone/anything for warmth. I got to hold a wild quail chick once as a kid because its foot got stuck under our garden hose and it couldn't get loose. When I picked it up, it practically fell asleep in my hands on account of the warmth. <3
